7 nm CMOS-based Coherent DSPs are under development for applications, including very power-efficient high-faceplate density 400G ZR transceivers, high-performance 800G DCI, and performance-enhanced multi-rate transponders. In this webinar, we explore how these R&D investments will change and improve performance relative to current 400G+ products. Will the 800G promise of increased performance, higher baud rates, lower power dissipation, and compact packaging meet DCI and transport network requirements? We also examine how these improvements enable smaller, interoperable transceivers and high-performance embedded transponders while altering the economics of optical networks from DCI to subsea.
