Global box office drops slightly in 2016December 06, 2017Global box office revenue dropped for the first time in the past ten years, although marginally, by 1.8% to $37.8 billion in 2016. The number would have been higher, and therefore box office would have been up, had it not been for exchange rate fluctuations between US dollar and South American countries and (to a lesser extent) between the Rouble and the Euro.Subscribers Only
