Nexon cancels development of Titanfall OLJuly 17, 2018The freemium version of Titanfall was designed exclusively for Asian markets with development handled by Nexon GT, specifically the team responsible for Sudden Attack. The agreement to cancel Titanfall OL was co-announced by EA and Nexon, while the was still in closed-beta testing and yet to have been officially launched. The two companies will continue to work on FIFA Online 4, as well as new products.

Nexon sells off NCSOFT shares for $535 millionOctober 22, 2015Nexon ordered the immediate sale of all its shares of NCSOFT for $ 535 million, a sharp drop-off compared to $688 million by which the company purchased a 14.7% stake in NCSOFT in 2012 to become the largest third party shareholder. Nexon officially announced that this transaction is due to “no significant synergies have been realized between the two parties”.
