FA sells international TV rights to agencies IMG and Pitch InternationalOctober 26, 2016Content deal: The Football Association has signed multi-year TV rights agreements with agencies IMG and Pitch International for the FA Cup, English football's knockout tournament, for six seasons from 2018/19 to 2023/24. Pitch International will sell the rights in western Europe (excluding the UK), the Middle East and North Africa, with IMG handling the rest of the world. Unconfirmed press reports put the value of the deal at $1 billion. UK rights will remain with BBC and BT Sport through to 2021.Subscribers Only

BeIn Media continues its push into entertainment with Warner Bros dealOctober 20, 2016Continuing its move into non-sports programming, BeIn Media Group has agreed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. International Television. According to the deal, the Qatar-based group will immediately be able to offer its subscribers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) access to TV series including Arrow, Gotham and The Originals and will also have second window pay TV rights for Warner Bros movies for the region. However, from 1 January 2019 BeIn Media will have first window pay TV rights for all Warner Bros content.
