This week security researchers exposed the vulnerabilities of mPOS devices by playing the popular Flappy Bird game on the terminal. Inevitably this has raised significant security concerns throughout the entire Eco-system, adding to the already negative light surrounding card payment security. Following the massive data breach that occurred at Target stores only four months ago, Trustmark National Bank and Green Bank recently filed a lawsuit against the retailer and its assessor, further fueling a series of bad press for the data security industry. But is this all bad?
