Sensata has acquired the sensing portfolio of Custom Sensors & Technologies, including Kavlico, BEI, Crydom and Newall product lines, sales, engineering and manufacturing sites in the U.S., UK, Germany, France, China and Mexico. The deal, which is expected to close either in Q4 2015 or early 2016, encompasses 2,500 people and 250 engineers, and associated revenues of around $320 million over the past 12 months.
