Data center architectures are evolving to accommodate ever-growing traffic demands and performance-based applications that demand high bandwidth and low latency. This shift requires data centers to be built in closer proximity and have immense interconnected bandwidth. 400G ZR coherent optical technology promises to provide faster data flow between data centers within 80-120 km of each other, while other protocols will enable further reach.

This webinar explores coherent optical solutions enabled by the new and developing standards for 400ZR and ZR+, respectively. These new standards substantially increase bandwidth capacity between data centers, while reducing operating costs, footprint and power consumption. The arrival of these small form factor, coherent pluggables in compact DCI platforms and routers will spur different use cases for data center interconnect and metro applications, such as residential and mobile backhaul.

Given that specialized test equipment and processes are under development for 400G small form factor coherent pluggables, this webinar also explores the unique challenges of optimizing equipment and processes for this new set of coherent modems during their development, qualification, manufacturing and deployment at data centers.

Who Should Attend

Webscale operators, data center operators, service providers, cable network operators, mobile network operators, transceiver and transponder vendors, coherent optics companies, and financial analysts.
