Aled Evans is a Senior Research Analyst for IHS Markit in the TMT Content team. His role is focused on television and sVOD channels and programming across international markets.
Prior to IHS Markit Aled worked extensively in UK media production as a senior producer with roles across leading TV broadcasters and content production groups.

Aled has a Master’s Degree in Entertainment Law from Westminster Law School with a focus on the law and regulation capturing broadcasting, content, data and digital media.

UK government publishes 'no deal Brexit' advice for broadcasters

The UK Government has published guidance for the broadcasting and video-on-demand sector in the event that the country leaves the European Union (EU) on 29 March 2019 without an agreement on its future relationship with the other 27 countries. Similar guidance notes have been published for other sectors which will be impacted in a 'no deal' scenario. The government note states this is 'unlikely' to happen.
