Joining Infonetics Research/IHS in December 2008 and leveraging 20 years of telecom industry analyst and marketing experience, Diane Myers is widely regarded as one of the VoIP industry's top analysts. She is a meticulous researcher with expertise in identifying new markets, product positioning, messaging, strategic planning, competitive analysis, enterprise trends, and service provider go-to-market strategy.

Diane leads Infonetics’/IHS’s carrier VoIP/IMS and enterprise telephony coverage, authoring numerous market share and forecast reports, service provider and end-user studies, and Continuous Research Service (CRS) research notes. She specializes in PBXs and unified communications (UC), session border controllers (SBCs), service provider VoIP and IMS equipment, cloud UC services, SIP trunking, residential VoIP, Diameter signaling, WebRTC, and adoption trends of service providers and businesses.

Prior to Infonetics/IHS, Diane was the Strategic Marketing Director for VoIP application software vendor BroadSoft, and the Program Manager at Stratecast Partners, where she provided strategic analysis and quantitative assessments of communications services to incumbent service providers and competitive operators. Diane is also a former senior manager at FORE Systems (Marconi Communications), where she helped build the Market Intelligence Group, and a senior analyst at In-Stat, NCR, and Eastman Kodak.

An influential thinker and speaker, Diane is frequently quoted in trade and business press, including The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, Total Telecom, Network World, and FierceMarkets publications, and is a highly-sought conference panelist, moderator, speaker, and content developer. Diane also serves as an expert judge for industry and technology awards, such as the GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards and Informa’s IMS Industry Awards.

As a consultant to startups, service providers, vendors, and the investment community, Diane helps clients identify new market opportunities, provides due diligence, and advises on positioning, product development, and business plans.

Diane received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree from Thunderbird, School of Global Management.
