Richard Eden

Richard Eden is a principal analyst with IHS Markit technology, media and telecom group where he looks after the power semiconductors area. His current report focus includes power semiconductor discretes and modules, SiC and GaN power semiconductors, as well as contributing to the Power Management Competitive Landscaping Tool and Power Management Market Tracker, all within the Power Semiconductor Intelligence Service.

Prior to joining IHS Markit, Richard spent 5 years in electronics marketing management at distributor RS Components and 15 years in a variety of customer facing and product management roles at Rohm Electronics (now Rohm Semiconductor). Before that, he was a design engineer at Plessey Microwave in Towcester, working on military and high-end microwave components and sub-systems.

Richard has a HND in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Coventry (Lanchester) Polytechnic, now Coventry University.
