Andrew Rassweiler manages the cost benchmarking services at IHS, which includes the teardown service as well as Component Price Tracker™, and Component Health Watch™ services.
Andrew also contributes as Sr. Principal Analyst for the teardown service. He is often cited in All Things Digital (part of the Wall Street Journal’s digital network), and has made numerous appearances on Bloomberg West to discuss the cost structures of popular electronic devices. He has extensive knowledge on a wide variety of electronic systems and components.
Prior to joining IHS, Andrew was product manager at AVX Corporation, where he was responsible for the management and development of a number of lines of electronic components. His career began at ETRI Corporation, part of the Dynateg Groupe, where he started a new sourcing operation to support the group’s international production facilities.
Rassweiler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Central Florida and also studied at Florida Tech (formerly Florida Institute of Technology).
