As expected, Nexon’s main growth driver in Q1 was the PC version of Dungeon & Fighter (DNF) in China, due to the Lunar New Year update during the Chinese New Year holiday and the subsequent Level Cap release. Other major publishers suffered severe declines in both local and international markets. Web-based board games enjoyed an improved performance thanks to seasonality, but this cannot compensate for other losses. The mobile games market lacks new growth drivers, while publishers prepare rich pipelines for Q2.
