This report presents the current standing of traditional vendors in the open infrastructure market. It covers three leading open infrastructure organizations: Open Compute Project, Open Data Center Committee (formerly Project Scorpio) and Open19. Specifically, this report focuses on their rack systems designs. Their rack systems include both the rack design and their implementation of rack-level power solutions. Each community-led group managing specifications for open infrastructure designs is evaluated by its global scope, maturity, customer focus, and risk to the existing traditional market, as well as, the benefits of each design from the perspective of the adopters and drivers. An updated analysis of 21-inch racks with a 2018 base year and forecast through 2023 is included.
