Last year, Netflix offered 1,567 hours of original content on its worldwide streaming platforms, well ahead of online and traditional competitors. Our research finds an increased emphasis on scripted drama and non-US production.

  • Amazon produced 329 total hours of originated programming. HBO, the leading premium cable network in the US, launched 216 hours of original content in 2018
