Major publishers were affected by seasonality and lacked any new releases to spur growth in Q2, resulting in stagnant performances, or even declines. Nexon maintained its lead, capturing 56% of the whole PC games business mainly due to underwhelming performance from its competitors. Nexon’s downturn in its domestic market was attributed in part to the transition of core users from FIFA Online 3 to its follow up, FIFA Online 4.
