As the technology has improved, inkjet printing (IJP) OLED has gained attention in recent years. Many panel makers have begun developing IJP, and some have even started planning pilot and MP lines for the coming years.

IJP capacity is expected to expand quickly after 2021, when the construction of mass production lines is completed and they begin producing OLED panels. In addition, IJP is a highly attractive manufacturing technique due to its flexibility, digital patterning, lower-cost equipment (than lithography or vacuum), highly efficient use of materials, scalability, and potential for high productivity.
