Netflix has increased its standard and premium tier prices in the US and across select countries in Western Europe. Markets where Netflix launched during its 2016 global roll out, including Central and Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific, remain unaffected, as are countries experiencing a price rise since this date. Western Europe, including Finland, but excluding the rest of Scandinavia, will experience a modest increase.
Premium packages increases are roughly double that of Standard package, which is £0.50 in the UK, and €1 in the rest of affected European Territories. The US will see an increase of $1 for Standard package and $2 for the Premium. Increases are currently limited to new customers only, or to existing customers switching tier within their subscription.
