Over the last year, the number of brands participating in the OLED TV category has expanded from 6 to 12, and IHS Markit is now tracking the entrance and growth of these brands. The competition, not just between OLED TV brands, but also Samsung and the Quantum Dot camp, has increased, driving prices down recently. The result has been growth of the OLED segment in the TV category, especially in the premium segment.
