Mobile content, services, and  hardware companies raised more than $5.5 billion in disclosed funding in Q4 2016. M&A activity in Q4 2016 remained stable over the previous quarter with the same number of deals at 43. Overall, 2016 ended the year on a healthy run with more than $49 billion raised throughout 894 funding deals.
