IHS Markit forecasts that the number of new connected nodes will grow from 75 million nodes in 2015, to almost 123 million nodes by 2020 - a significant increase in the potential surface of attack. While Industry 4.0 / IIoT greatly enhances the capability of industrial control communications, it is already increasing the worry of Cyber-attacks and the challenge of keeping devices secure. According to IHS Markit, the total market for industrial cybersecurity products reached $782 million in 2015 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.8 percent to reach $1,831 million in 2020. This webinar will look at security issues raised in the roll-out of the industrial internet and how governments and industry are responding to the challenge.
