UK physical retail finalized for 2015, forecasts updated to 2020

IHS has updated its UK physical video retail figures for 2015 to reflect results published by the British Video Association (BVA). End of year figures have slightly increased due to a better than expected Christmas period. According to data compiled by the Official Charts Company and published by the BVA, consumer spending on physical video in the UK fell to £1,075m ($1,536m) in 2015, a 14.9% decline from £1,264m ($1,805m) in 2014. Total unit sales to consumers declined by 16.4% to 119.6m from 143m in 2014.
