This report analyses the relative importance of key programming genres on each of the UK’s top pay video on demand (VoD) providers during a six month period from April to September 2015. It covers four key service providers: subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) services Netflix, Amazon Prime and Now TV, and pay TV service Sky. The analysis examines the total number of TV shows available via each provider (based on the criteria outlined below), the country of origin of those shows (split between UK, US and other) and the ratio of exclusive to non-exclusive shows available on each service.
