In terms of NAR, the overall TV ad market in Central and Eastern Europe grew 0.9% in 2014 and will grow 1.1% in 2015. These figures are significanlty uplifted to 2.5% and 2.3% respectively, if the lowest perfrormes are excluded (Ukraine in 2014 and Russia in 2015). In other words, the region will return to much healthier growth rates once these markets improve their macro-economic and political conditions. Turkey, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania are expected to be the fastest growing markets in 2015. Although moderate, the majority of the markets (11/14) in the region are forecast to see growth in 2015 as the CEE recovery begins. This market monitor provides a global overview of the past and current TV ad markets in CEE and forecasts their performance for the next five years.
