Roku recently announced the Roku 4, along with updates to the user experience for its current-model players, and updates to its mobile app.  The new Roku 4 supports 4K content and output, at a $129.99 price, and also features a remote-finding feature.

Roku’s interface now supports more in-depth functionality for following and discovering content, via a deeper Feeds function. The company also continues to lead in implementation of cross-source content search, with 20 compatible content providers and growing.

The mobile app’s experience has been slightly refreshed, with a tweaked look and feel and more in-depth support for the Feeds function. Most notably, the mobile app no longer needs to be on the same network as the actual Roku player, content search and flagging of content for the Feed can take place over the Internet.
