New geographic coverage within US Video Intelligence

IHS’ US Video Intelligence service has been updated and expanded to include a greater geographical coverage. Existing subscribers will now have access to data, where available, for Canada and North America region (USA and Canada) as part of their existing subscription.

Existing workbooks, now include worksheets for the North American region and individual worksheets for the United States and Canada. This new data availability is part of IHS’ drive to improve data and geographic coverage to existing clients within their existing services.

Additional data added to the service includes the Canadian retail and rental markets by consumer revenues (spend minus sales tax) and units sold/rental transactions. The Canadian rental market is further split by channel (traditional vs. kiosk vs. subscription) by both rental transactions and consumer revenues with all revenue data presented in US dollars only.

The new data includes both physical video and audio and has data from 1992 and continues to include five-year forecast for all metrics.
