This report is intended to offer a guide to the results of the top TV manufacturers in the US during Thanksgiving week 2013, as well as an analysis of Black Friday price discounts for TVs for specific screen sizes and technical splits, providing a summary for holiday pricing strategies in the US by retailers and manufacturers.For this purpose, IHS collected sales data for major TV brands and the advertised prices of over 150 TV models across 10 top US retail outlets offered during and around Black Friday. The data was analyzed to produce average sales pricing based on specifications, and to look at the average advertised price discounts.Tables and charts included:
