Smartphones are becoming more commonplace in the mobile arena as consumers continue to use their devices for more than just voice-calling. This growing trend is sparking heavy competition between mobile handset OEMs. Notable is the competitions between mobile OEMs Apple Inc (APPL) & Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd (SEC). There are a number of device features that these two OEMs compete on, including: product design, content, added-features, operating system, and the availability of applications. One feature that both APPL and SEC use to better leverage their flagship smartphones is the display.
