In the fourth quarter of 2012, IHS expected that Chinese handset makers would ship 350 million smartphone units for 2013. IHS is now revising its prediction with the readjusted total smartphone shipment from Chinese handset makers to be 361 million units for 2013, equal to a 77% annual growth rate.
