The active digital screen base now exceeds 25,000 in Europe, of which just over half of digital screens were also 3D enabled as at end 2012. While, the average digital screen penetration reached over 70 per cent across total Europe in Q4, there are still over 10,000 remaining screens to convert of the approximately 35,000 total screen footprint. Spain has the largest 35mm screen base remaining, followed by Italy.
