The active digital screen base now exceeds 20,000 for the first time in Europe. Average digital screen penetration hit over 60 per cent in W Europe during the quarter, ahead of C E Europe, which has yet to reach majority status. There are now 19 European territories with majority of screens digitised, up from 16 the previous quarter as Germany, Bulgaria and Hungary joined the ranks in the first quarter period of 2012.
