The PND market in China experienced explosive growth since 2007 but has slowed down lately. While there are hundreds of brands sold on the market, one key player had been missing. TomTom, a leading PND maker which sold over 1.5 million PNDs in Europe for 49% market share in Q2 2010 and about 800K in North America for 23% market share during the same period, did not officially enter the Chinese market until a few weeks ago.
